Since the Chiefs Won the Superbowl this year we have had several calls and questions about framing a sports jersey and framing and the price.
Price is a big question for custom jersey framing. We can't give you a one price fits all price But our jersey frames are approx $250-$500. Sometimes less for smaller jersey's like kids, soccer and basketball jerseys.
The things that go into cost and design of jerseys are;
Size - Larger jerseys like hockey jerseys cost more to frame due to size and they require larger and more materials. a smaller Jersey like a basketball/sleeveless and kids jerseys can cost a lot less. We often Fold the jersey in half this saves money.
Extras - Things like cards, magazine or newspaper articles, pictures and mementos . . . etc. These things often make your jersey more interesting and can showcase your memories in one shadow box. However keep in mind they can increase the size.
Framing Materials - This includes the frame, matting and glass. Here you have several options and we will always go over the costs and benefits of each during our design meeting.
The signature on the jersey makes it more valuable and UV protective glass is very important. We offer both regular UV and Museum. Both provide 99% UV protection. Regular looks like glass, Museum has an anti-reflective coating.

Labor/Design - We take tremendous pride in our work. We take the time and attention to detail to make sure jerseys are stretched tight and DO NOT have wrinkles or are saggy. The cost of the jersey itself is not cheap and we want to make sure you get a professional custom framing product you can display proudly for years to come.
We get many questions about Online/Internet framed jerseys.
Many of these jerseys are made with low quality materials. They are framed using acrylic / Plexiglas in order to ship them to you. Plexiglas is not UV protected. All of these outlets get their framing done in large warehouses, that use the least expensive and lowest quality materials. Also a craft store ready-made frame is made the same way. So, we prefer not to work with them, we will put your jersey into a ready made shadow box, but keep in mind it could cost as much, if not more, in labor alone and you wont' have the right glass.
Jerseys can be an investment, or a fun part of the decor in a home/office, man cave, sports den, or TV room. A poorly framed jersey is unappealing and if you pay to have it professionally framed you deserve to have it done right.
Below is a few examples of the jerseys we've done over the years.
